Judy A. Weishapl

Memorial services for Judith Ann “Judy” Weishapl, age 84, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be 1:00 p.m., Monday,  April 1, 2024, at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue, in Norfolk. Deacon Terry Price will officiate, with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk.

Visitation will be with family will be one hour prior to service at the chapel.

Judy passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.

Judith Ann was born July 22, 1939, in Norfolk, Nebraska to Francis “Breezy” and Mary Lee “Dickie” (Young) Weishapl. She graduated from Sacred Heart School – Burns High School.

She lived in Chicago and New York. Judy worked for Delta Airlines for 31 years.  She traveled the world and retired back to Norfolk. Judy lived with her mother until Mary Lee passed.  Then, she lived with her sister, Jean, until Jean passed in 2022. 

In retirement, Judy worked at Northeast Community College and then Shamrock Greenhouse. She enjoyed her time with family and friends. Recently, she moved to the Madison House. 

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Jean. 

She is survived by her sister, Jane (Frank) Oviedo of Norfolk; nieces, nephews, great nephews, and many cousins.
