Lifelong Madison County resident, Bonnie Lee Tillotson passed from life to death at her Battle Creek residence on Valentine's Day, preceded in death by her parents, Myron Neidig and Adeline DeGroot (Neidig) Krom, her only sibling Peggy Thomas and her husband/companion of 44 years Richard (Dick) Tillotson.
Bonnie is survived by Peggy's children: Nancy Fager, Robert Thomas, Michael Thomas (all of Omaha), Thomas A. Thomas (Escondido, California), Susan Korth and James Thomas (both of Norfolk) along with their spouses, children and grandchildren whose lives were enriched by her storytelling, unbiased advice and creative spirit. Her extended Tillotson family survivors include niece Terri Tillotson Kirby along with a son, nieces & nephews. Bonnie would also count among her survivors friends from every walk of life, always making time for people of all ages she was a selfless investor in the lives of many. It is fitting that she departed this life on a day that commemorates love.
In lieu of flowers gifts and memorials can be made to RE Volk Medical Fund, established by Bonnie for the benefit of her beloved grandniece.
