I graduated from Norfolk High School with Carole Boyd in 1960. There was an auditorium in NHS that seated all the kids from all four classes and we would have meetings there (called convocations I think). Anyway we were seated alphabetically by class: Boyd, Braithwaite, Brasch, etc. So, for four years Carole had to sit next to me every time we had an all school meeting. She was a wonderful person; kind, sweet, funny, and (in retrospect) very patient with an immature auditorium seat neighbor.
I am saddened to hear of Carole's passing. Our world has lost a good one.
