Charles Livingston Obituary
Funeral services for Charles Dean Livingston, 87, of Norfolk will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Home for Funerals. Reverend Matthew Gilmore will officiate. Burial will be in Elk Point Cemetery, Elk Point, SD. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Charles died Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.
Charles was born August 9, 1930 to Leroy Ralph and Daisy (Scott) Livingston in Elk Point, SD. He grew up and attended school in Elk Point. Charles married Alva Allen in 1975 at Deadwood, SD. They later divorced.
After serving a short time in the military, Charles became a Baptist minister in St. Louis, MO. He later spent many years as a painter.
Charles is survived by his children Angie Beccera - Livingston, Jeff (Patty), Charles Jr. (Ginny), Kenneth, and Kevin (Patty), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers Ricky (Colette) of Elk Point, SD and Teddy Joe of Canton, MO, sister, Nila Hudnut, and many nieces and nephews.
Charles is preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Livingston, six brothers, one sister and ex-wife, Alva.
