I never met Chuck, but Richard Scharer spoke so much of him in the last 6 years that I felt as I was a close compatriot. Richard regaled me of Chuck’s exploits when he was in the military and of his marksmanship skills; so much that it re-energized me to start shooting (I joined a few gun clubs in Colorado Springs, Colorado) and honing my skills. In addition, I’ve added Gunsmithing and refinishing firearms. In reading Chuck’s history it is fascinating life and career and he served his country with distinction. I’m sure Richard will continue to share stories of Chuck and I will listen to them fondly.
