Memorial Services for Chris Ober, 26, of Norfolk, will be 2:00, Monday, December 30, 2019, at First United Methodist Church, in Plainview. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Reverend Mark Crist will officiate. Interment will be at a later date. Home for Funerals is in charge of the arrangements.
Chris passed away on December 25, 2019.
He was born on September 28, 1993, in Neligh, NE, the son of Ryan and Michelle (Scheinost) Ober. He was raised in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School. Following graduation, Chris worked at several feedlots. Afterwards he began is truck driving career. He specialized in livestock hauling.
Chris is survived by his parents, Ryan (Traci) Ober and Michelle Henson; his fiancée, Ariana Wolfgram; his siblings: Vanessa Downs, Randolph, NE, Grant Taylor, Ewa Beach, HI, Fauneil Olander, Winside, NE, Edward Olander, Winside, NE, Brooke Downs, Randolph, NE, Allan Olander, Winside, NE, Sean Taylor, Plainview, NE, Callie Taylor, Plainview, NE, and Alex (Callie) Kuhl, Pierce, NE; grandmothers, Garcia Scheinost, Plainview, and Andrea (Lonny) Young, of Norfolk.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Allan Ober and Larry Scheinost.
The family requests that attendees come as Chris would have wanted—casual.
