Dear Deb and Family, l am so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He always held a special place in my heart as the baby of the family ...even after Steve was born. Im sorry l was not notified of his death. May God hold you all close to his heart. Love, Sue

Deb and family, Sorry we couldn't be there. Doug will truely be missed. I watched the memorial side show, and saw Dad (Erv Matthies) with Doug turkey hunting. Dad sure talked alot about his fishing and hunting trips with Doug.

One of the nicest guys I've ever known it's hard to believe you're gone you will be greatly missed.
Worked beside Doug a lot of years at Affiliated Foods in The Print Shop, always had a smile and a positive word, and will always remember him leaving behind a piece of candy for you to find. With a heavy heart my prayers go out to your family and friends
