Edward A. Loehding

Memorial services for Ed Loehding, 74, of Norfolk will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 19, 2018, at Home for Funerals Norfolk, Reverend Caleb Lind will officiate.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.

Ed died Monday, January 15, 2018 at Faith Regional Health Services.

Ed was born June 12, 1943, in Norfolk, to John and Marcella (Novotny) Hoffman. He was adopted as a baby by his grandparents, Carl and Rose (Barta) Loehding. Ed attended Battle Creek Schools and graduated from Battle Creek High School. After graduation Ed lived in Omaha and worked at Lozier as a supervisor. Ed moved to Norfolk and worked at Dale Electronics from June 1976 until May 1985. Ed then worked at Nore’s Carpet, Diamond Vogel and the Granary, he retired in 2006. Ed loved to fish.

Ed is survived by a granddaughter Rachel and Chance Torticill, a great-granddaughter, Arabell and a sister, Shirley Baumgart.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Kevin Loehding.
