Services for Elsie D. Cox, 83, of Stanton will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2018 at New England Congregational Church, Stanton. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service, at the church. Reverend Linda Mohr will officiate.
Elsie died Saturday, June 23, 2018, at her residence.
Elsie Darlene (Smith) Cox was born March 15, 1935, to Albert and Eva (Frank) Smith. She attended school in Stanton.
Elsie married Duane Schultz on August 18, 1951. They had 5 children: Linda (Tony), Daniel, Richard (Tina), Robert (Roylene), and William (Stephanie). After Duane’s passing in 1987, she married Harlan Cox in 1996. She gained 5 more children: LeAnn, Harlan A., Rodney, Billy, and Heidi.
Elsie is survived by her second husband Harlan, her children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Duane and her parents.
