May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you,
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you,
and give you peace.
These words have never held as much meaning to me as they have over the past week. They have provided much comfort and peace this week . Grandma would take my hands and pray this for me and my family and for safety as we traveled to our home. She taught me unconditional love, faith, grace, forgiveness and compassion. She taught me to have a giving, caring heart. She taught me to see good in everything and to leave it in Gods hands. Everyone who got the pleasure of knowing her will miss her dearly.

It is with heavy heart and tear filled eyes as I write this, my Grandma Schmidt sadly passed away Friday night. At 103 years old, grandma lived a very full life. She always told me she felt blessed having family around her when in fact we were blessed to have her in our lives. I believe her strong faith and the unconditional love she gave us and the unconditional love from her family, her spirit will live on. I will miss my grandma very much but I know she is with my grandpa and my dad and those who have passed on before her. I love you Grandma.
