Joyce A Funk

Funeral services for Joyce A. Funk, 61, of Norfolk will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Westridge United Methodist Church, Norfolk: Rev Donna Goltry will officiate.  Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Madison.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Home for Funerals, Norfolk, Nebraska.

            Joyce died Friday, February 16, 2018 at St. Joseph's Rehabilitation and Care Center, Norfolk.

            Joyce was born June 20, 1956, to Jerome and Esther (Rodabough) Funk in Norfolk. She attended school in Madison and graduated from Madison High School in 1974. Joyce attended Wayne State College and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business.

            Joyce moved to Hastings and worked for Kmart for a time, she then moved to Lincoln and worked in the dietary department of a Lincoln Hospital. Joyce moved back to Norfolk and began working at Faith Regional Health Services in the dietary department. She retired in 2017 due to her health.

            Joyce loved animals, especially her dogs. She enjoyed her garden and most of all loved her nieces and nephews.

            Joyce is survived by 4 brothers, Lyle (Bev) Funk, of Norfolk, Lynn (Donna) Funk, of Madison, Paul (Carolyn) Funk, of Norfolk, Norman (Shari) Funk of Norfolk, and a sister Ruth (Nick) Johnson, of Guthrie, OK.

            Joyce was preceded in death by her parents.
