Funeral services for Julie M. Blevins, 47, of Norfolk will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Home for Funerals Chapel 708 Georgia Avenue, Norfolk.  Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Norfolk.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Home for Funerals Chapel 708 Georgia Avenue, Norfolk, Nebraska.

Julie died Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Faith Regional Health Services.

Julie was born January 14, 1971, to Joe and Norma (Gowler) Blevins at Norfolk. She graduated from Norfolk Public Schools. Julie moved with her parents to Columbus in 1990, they moved back to Norfolk in 2002.

Julie loved life and never gave up, she was truly a fighter. Julie had a very soft heart and loved animals especially dogs and especially her 2 dogs, Lily and Maggie.

Julie is survived by her mother, Norma of Norfolk, a brother Jay and Christy Blevins of Norfolk, a sister Jodi and Paul Lindner of Wayne and 5 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Joe and a brother Jerry.
