Susan, I received the Norfolk daily news yesterday and read your mom's passing. I wanted to let you know that I was sorry to hear of her death. Your mom worked for us at the donut shop. She was our night time baker, a very good, dependable worker. I knew that I could go to bed knowing that Katie would take care of the shop for us. She will be missed by her family. I hope she didn't suffer before she died. Our condolences to you and your family.

Kate was great friend to us and we were very lucky to have known such open armed, non-judging person at a very tough time in our lives many years ago. We have never forgotten what she did and was prepared to do for us. She will forever be remembered. Thanks for sharing her with us.
