Ken married Marilyn Anderson on June 22, 1963, in Plainview. They moved to Norfolk in 1966, so Ken could paint the new St. John’s Lutheran Church. (Painting and Decorating Contractors of America).

Ken enjoyed traveling, boating, camping and most of all spending time with his family.

Ken is survived by his wife Paula Sue, two children Kevin and (Penny Weihs) Rasmussen, of Plainview, Loretta and Jim Keyes of Tea, South Dakota, a step son Jamie and Brenda Gubbels, of Lincoln, three grandchildren, Tad and Brooke Pospisil, Tristan Keyes, Rachelle LaMont, four step-grandchildren, Brianna Keyes, Derek Keyes, Austin Gubbels and Kaden Gubbels, 4 extended grandchildren, Tonnya Juhnke, Misty and Devin Watts, Danielle Weihs and Brandon Weihs, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Marilyn, and two sisters, Jeanine Neitzke and Sharon Reichle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Norfolk, or to the family for later designation.
