Kirstin B. "Meyer" King

Private family services for Kirstin B. "Meyer" King, 47, of Norfolk were held Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Home for Funerals, Norfolk. 

            Kirstin died Sunday, April 14, 2019 in Norfolk.

            Kirstin was born March 19, 1972, to David and Turi (Siewers) Meyer in Norfolk. She attended Norfolk Public Schools and graduated from Norfolk Senior High School in 1990. Kirstin graduated from Northeast Community College in 1996, as a Vet Tech, with an Associate of Applied Science degree. She worked as a Vet Tech for various veterinarians over the years.

            Kirstin was married to Tim McCall, they later divorced.

            Kirstin loved her children, animals and always pulled for the underdog. She always said she was fluent in French and sarcasm.  She had a great sense of humor and was a staunch Democrat.

            Kirstin had struggled with alcohol addiction for 10 years and had been in recovery for 6 months.

Kirstin is survived by her 2 children, Brendan McCall and Mallory McCall, of New Albany Ohio, her mother Turi Meyer (Gerry Schulz) of Norfolk, a brother Matt and Sara Meyer of Lincoln, many loving relatives in Norway, and her much loved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

            She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father on April 14, 1997.
