Mark S. Pyles

A Celebration of Life for Mark Scott Pyles, 55, of Norfolk will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 26, 2018, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Norfolk: Reverend Ryan Taylor will officiate.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements. Per Mark’s wishes he donated his body to science.

            Mark died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at his home.

            Mark was born December 19, 1962, to Scott and Helen (Fritz) Pyles, in Wichita, KS. He grew up there and graduated from Wichita High School North in 1982. After high school Mark worked in industrial supply in the Wichita area for many years.

            Mark was married and later divorced and raised his 2 children in Wichita.

            Mark moved to Norfolk 3 years ago and worked at Floor Maintenance and Paper Supply as a salesman, until his diagnosis with cancer.

            Mark was baptized March 18, 2018, at his home.

            Mark is survived by his 2 children, Stephanie and Matthew Pyles, of Wichita, his mother and stepfather Helen and Roger Wait of Wichita, his sweetheart Teri Held and her 2 children Briann and Preston all of Norfolk, several step brothers and step sisters, and his very special four legged “son”, Maddox.

            He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister Audrey.

            In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family.
