I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in Jesus words at John 5:28,29. There Jesus promised a resurrection of our loved ones, saying that the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. These resurrected ones will inherit the earth, as Jesus spoke about in Matthew chapter 5. Then, under the rule of God’s Kingdom, they will enjoy life the way God originally intended, in perfect health with no sorrow, pain or death. We are so sorry to hear about the unexpected death of our nephew, Matthew Mapes. He was such a good person and we extend our prayers and love to each of you. I remember fondly our Christmas gatherings in Iowa when Marty, Melissa, Matt, Mike, and Mark would come to visit their Grandparents Malick and Leta Foley, and Aunts and Uncles. The games, singing, eating, and family fun were so much fun. Matt will be sorely missed and remain in our prayers and memories forever. Love, Uncle Soren, Aunt Donna and family
