Paul G. Hilkemann, Sr.

Funeral Services for Paul G. Hilkemann, Sr., 92, Norfolk, will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk.  Reverend Chip Winter will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at Home for Funerals in Norfolk.

He passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.

Paul Gustav was born on December 7, 1925 in Wayne County to Herman and Augusta (Koll) Hilkemann. They moved to Pierce County when he was six weeks old. He attended and was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran School in Hadar.

Paul married Violet Miller on December 23, 1950 at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk. To this union three children were born Virginia, Paul, Jr., and Mark. They farmed for many years in Pierce County.

He is survived by daughter, Virginia, sons Paul, Jr. (Vicki), and Mark (Chris); grandchildren John (Becky), Sarah, Beth (Ben), Josh and fiancé, Victoria Fuhs, Emily, and Matthew; great -grandchildren Jerica, Jacey, Caleb, Ayden, Caden, Kinley, Caleb, and Grace; and his sister Hilda Knapp.

Paul is preceded by his wife, Violet; grandson, Tom; his parents, and siblings, Herman, Edward, Helen, Fred, Gladys, Ella, Dorothy, Herbert, and Walter.
