Robert H Plahn

Graveside services for Robert H. Plahn, 89, of Norfolk, were Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Pleasant View Cemetery, Plainview. Home for Funerals was in charge of arrangements.

            Robert  died Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at his home.

            Bob was born December 20, 1928, to Henry and Emelia (Hansen) Plahn, in Pierce, County. He attended District 48 and Plainview High School. Bob served in the Marine Corp from September 20, 1950 to May 22, 1952 and was honorably discharged as a Sargent. He served in Korea where he received the Purple Heart.        

            Bob married Mary Duinen in 1954. She passed away in 1988. Bob then Married June Harrison in 1989, she passed away in 2005.

            Bob worked at Watson Chevrolet in Plainview, at Northrup Chevrolet and Lookers in Norfolk. He retired in 1989.

            He is survived by his step-children.
