Scott D. Freese

Memorial services for Scott D. Freese, 58, of Norfolk will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2018, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Norfolk: Jackie Samway, PMA will officiate.    Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Home for Funerals, Norfolk, Nebraska.

            Scott Donald Freese, 58, of Norfolk, Nebr., went to be with the Lord on the evening of March 11th, 2018, after a battle with brain cancer.

Born May 22, 1959 in Sioux Falls, S.D. to Beth Freese and the late Don Freese, he graduated from Tarkio College in 1980, and from the University of Nebraska School of Law in 1983. He was employed at Aschoff Construction at the time of death. As an avid golfer, a Christian man, and a lover of books, his real and abiding passions were his family and friends. He sought to instill in his children a zest for life, a commitment to family and friends, and the power of a smile.

He is survived by his mother, Beth Freese; sister, Deb Freese; mother of his children, Kris Freese, all of Norfolk, Nebr.; son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Jayne Freese of Omaha, Nebr.; and daughter, Jennifer Freese of Scottsdale, Ariz.

Mr. Freese was preceded in death by his father, Donald Freese, and other beloved extended family members.
