Sharon K. Lenox

Funeral Services for Sharon K. Lenox, 78, Norfolk, will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 23, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk.  Reverend Frank Brink will officiate. Burial will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Hadar. Visitation will begin after 9:00 a.m., Friday at Christ Lutheran Church.  Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.

Sharon passed away peacefully Monday, November 19, 2018 at her home in Norfolk.

Sharon Kay was born January 9, 1940 in Norfolk, Nebraska.   She attended school in Norfolk and worked various guest service positions including as an assistant manager at Dairy Queen.

Sharon liked spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading and belonged to book clubs. Sharon loved cats in particular, and assisting stray animals. She was a member of the Red Hats Society and a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her children Holly (Joe) Bares grandchildren Zachary and Haille Bares, Chad Lenox (Sonya), grandchildren Lisa, Faith, Summer, Dade, four great grandchildren, sisters Joy (Mike) Malena, Jeannie Moss, many nieces, and nephews and Larry Lenox.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother Bernice Moss, and step-father Ronald Moss.
