Allen Field

Funeral services for Allen H. Field, age 77, of Stanton, will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 22, 2023, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stanton.  Reverend Jason Schulz will officiate, with interment will be in the Wisner Cemetery in Wisner, Nebraska. 

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. 

Home for Funerals – Stanton is in charge of arrangements.

He passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Stanton Health Center.

Allen Harry was born December 23, 1945, in Pilger, Nebraska to Edmond and Louise Marie Helena (Walt) Field.  He graduated from Stanton High School in 1965. 

Allen worked on road and street construction around the Stanton area until 1970.  He moved to Victoria, Texas, where he worked as landscaper, tree trimmer, and installer and repairman of sprinkler systems.  Allen retired in 2005 due to health issues and moved back to Stanton.

He enjoyed working on puzzles and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stanton.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Emiline Field.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Herbert Wagner of Stanton; and six nieces and nephews.
