Betty L. Howard

Graveside Services for Betty L. Howard, age 77, of Norfolk, will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Pleasant View Cemetery in Plainview, Nebraska.  Reverend Gordon Braun will officiate.  Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.

She passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Arbor Care Center – Countryside in Madison, Nebraska.

Betty was born March 3, 1946 near Creighton, Nebraska to John and Ava (Wright) Wiegert.  In 1964, she graduated from Osmond High School.

On March 28, 1965, she married Arnold Howard at the Plainview Methodist Church.  Betty was a stay-at- home mother who was blessed to raise two sons, Michael and Jeremy.

She is survived by her husband Arnold, sons Michael and Jeremy both of Norfolk, brothers Larry Wiegert of Plainview, and Robert Wiegert and Dennis Wiegert both of Norfolk, sister Amy Folkers of Grand Island, and nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dwain and LeRoy, and sisters Norma, Marva, Wanda, and Dorothy.
