Carol E. Bohn

Funeral services for Carol E. Bohn, age 77, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Reverend Paul Hirsch will officiate, with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue, in Norfolk.

Carol passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Community Pride Care Center in Battle Creek, Nebraska.

Carol E. Bohn was born February 3, 1948, in Wayne County, Nebraska to Willard and Ella (Hilkemann) Bohn. Carol attended country school in rural Pierce County.  She graduated from Norfolk Senior High School in 1966. Carol was baptized on February 29, 1948, and confirmed on May 6, 1962, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Norfolk. 

She worked at Dale Electronics for 47 years. 

Carol was an avid Husker sports fan and enjoyed watching birds. She liked cooking and baking and always loved to bring treats to her uncle Ervin Bohn. 

She is survived by her brother, Darrel Bohn of Norfolk; sister, Pamela (Frank Jr.) Clamser of Chula Vista, CA; nephew, Ian Nicklen; nieces, Chelsea Nicklen, Francesca Clamser, and Knatachia Ulrich; three great-nephews; and five great-nieces.
