Funeral services for Claudia Perez, age 34, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday August 20, 2025, at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue in Norfolk. Reverend Karen Juzenas will officiate.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue in Norfolk.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant View Cemetery in Plainview, Nebraska.

Claudia died Thursday, August 14, 2025, at her home in Norfolk.

Claudia Perez, daughter of Michael and TyLynne Bauer and Eva Esparza, was born September 7, 1990, at Lander, Fremont County, Wyoming. She attended Norfolk and York Public Schools. Claudia grew up in Norfolk, Nebraska and worked in both Norfolk and Wayne, Nebraska. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Survivors include parents, Michael and TyLynne Bauer and Eva Esparza; sister and brother-in-law, Marisela and Matthew Hahne with children Marshall, Makayla, Maeya, and Major; sister, Suzy Bolton with daughter Luella; sister, Elizabeth Perez with children Joshua and Eli; brother and sister-in-law, Collin and Rachel Bauer; sister, Madison Bauer; brother and sister-in-law, John and Cassie Perez with children Anthony, Alexyia, and Aidan; brother, Rafael Perez; brother, Jorge Perez and partner Chelsea Gloriane; brother, Gerardo Perez; sister, Angelica Perez with daughter; sister, Ava; and sister, Esther Viviana Esparza and children.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Sharon Christiansen and Joseph "Bud" and Earline Bauer.
