Crystal Marie Hayes Daughton

Funeral Services for Crystal Marie Hayes Daughton, age 23, of Norfolk, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 7, 2023 at Heartland Baptist Church Chapel in Norfolk.  Reverend Ty Woznek will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church.  The Service will be livestreamed on the funeral home's website. Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.

She passed away Friday, March 31 at UNMC in Omaha.

Crystal Marie was born in Ontario, Oregon, on October 31, 1999 to Robert L. Hayes and Carolyn Walker.  She went to school at Norfolk Public Schools in Norfolk. She married Brian Edward Daughton on February 23, 2023 in Madison, Nebraska.  Crystal worked as a CNA for Heritage of Fountain Point for a few months, and then at Mosaic as a direct support staff for disabled individuals for two years. She was preparing to go to college to earn her RN degree.  She was a busy mom of three children.  She went to church at Heartland Baptist Church.

Crystal is preceded in death by grandparents Gale and Helen Hayes and Joann Hayes, aunts Shirley Baker and Mary Hayes, great cousin Denise Tate, great-great aunt Carolee Tate, great grandparents Ella and J.D. Mollenhauer, great uncle Mark Mollenhauer, great uncle Robert Mollenhauer.

Crystal is survived by her husband Brian Daughton, their daughters Gabreilla, age 2, and Xiomara, age 1, infant son De'Andre, brother Robert A. Hayes, father Robert L. Hayes, of Norfolk, mother Carolyn Walker and her husband Mike of O’Neill, Nebraska, grandparents Chuck and Jaydena Packer of Payette, Idaho, aunt Marsha and uncle Paul Roberts, various other family members, and numerous friends.
