David R. Hilbers

Visitation for David R. Hilbers, age 53, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Home for Funerals, 1203 W. Norfolk Avenue, in Norfolk.

Private family burial will be at a later date in Stanton Cemetery. 

Home for Funerals in Norfolk is in charge of arrangements.

David passed away Friday, December 13, 2024, at his home in Norfolk.

David Ryan was born June 7, 1971, in Norfolk, Nebraska to Edward and Helen (Matthies) Hilbers. He graduated from Stanton High School in 1989.

David worked as a production worker at Tyson Foods. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Denver Broncos, and the New York Yankees. David was an avid baseball card collector.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ed.

David is survived by his mother Helen of Stanton; two brothers, Mark (Helen) Hilbers and Steve (Armita) Hilbers both of Stanton; and two nieces.
