Deborah "Debbie" S. Peterson

Funeral services for Deborah S. “Debbie” Peterson, age 67, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Westridge United Methodist Church in Norfolk. Reverend Caitlin Bentzinger will officiate. Interment will be in Magnet Cemetery in Magnet, Nebraska.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.   

Home for Funerals in Norfolk is in charge of arrangements.

Debbie passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.

Deborah Sue Peterson was born February 19, 1957, in Osmond, Nebraska to Clinton John and Leonore Fay (Long) Peterson. 

Debbie enjoyed music and loved listening to her father play the piano.  She liked being outside and swinging and playing in the sandbox.  Debbie loved her family and her NorthStar friends. 

Debbie is survived by her mother, Leonore “Lee” Peterson of Norfolk; sisters, Carolyn Grisom of West Hills, CA and Bette (Leon) Bilau of Gretna; brother-in-law, Byron Reed of Pierce; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clinton Peterson; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy Lee and Barrie Braden; sister, Sheila Marie Reed; and brother-in-law, Jay Grisom.
