Funeral services for Delores I. Hansen, age 90, of Stanton, Nebraska, will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2024, at Faith Lutheran Church in Stanton. Reverend William Engebretsen will officiate, with burial in Stanton Cemetery.
The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home’s website.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church.

Delores died Monday, September 16, 2024, at Stanton Health Center.
Delores Ida Hansen, daughter of Harry Pausch, Sr. and Mable (Blackmore) Pausch, was born March 26, 1934, in Sioux City, Iowa. She was baptized January 6, 1935, and confirmed on March 21, 1948, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in rural Merrill, Iowa. She attended high school in LeMars, Iowa, graduating in 1953. In her younger years, she was active in 4-H, as a member initially, and then assistant leader. She also volunteered as a Sunday School and Bible School teacher.
Delores married David Henry Hansen on September 23, 1962, at St. Paul Lutheran in rural Merrill, Iowa. The couple made their home on the family farm in rural Stanton, and were blessed with three children, Darrell, Darlus, and Deanna.
Delores loved being a homemaker and babysat for many years. She was famous for her homemade meatloaf, French toast, and coconut chiffon cake with pink icing and sprinkles. Delores participated in the Stanton County Fair for many years. Her flowers and houseplants were beautiful. She enjoyed sewing and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a big fan of Nebraska football.
Delores was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church, serving as the Secretary of the Ladies Aid and co-chair of the funeral committee. She served as the President of Rural School District 35 of Stanton County for thirteen years.
Survivors include her children, Darrell (Jane) Hansen of Stanton, Darlus (Jeff) McWilliams of Norfolk, and Deanna (John) Ishmiel of Fremont; sister, Loretta (Bob) Lubben of LeMars, Iowa; grandchildren, Eric (Cheryl) Hansen of Stanton, Michaela McWilliams of Norfolk, and Jacob and Alex Ishmiel of Fremont; great-grandchildren, Carolina and Easton Hansen of Stanton; step-grandchildren, Mike (Megan) McWilliams of Norfolk, Craig (Christine) McWilliams of Lincoln, Joe (Molly) McWilliams of Lincoln, and Christopher and Jarold McWilliams of Omaha; step-great-grandchildren Adalia, Delaney, Julius, Bremer, Kinley, Eloise, and Daniel McWilliams; and sisters-in-law, Lois Pausch and Alice Herbolsheimer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David in 2020; her brothers, Harry and Ronald Pausch; and step-great-grandchild, Michael McWilliams in infancy.
