We are sorry to hear of Don's passing. We had some great times growing up together.
We had many over night stays at either houses. What a great friend and a classy
individual.

Dear Family,
I am a classmate of Don's wife Judy. One thing that was not mentioned in the obituary was Don playing that mean set of drums in the band called the Chants. I had the pleasure of singing and playing certain percussion instruments like the tambourine and shakers in the band with Dave Dohren on bass guitar, Tom Nye on lead and rhythm guitar, Gregg Goodman on Saxaphone and drums, and Dennis Nitz on keyboard. We had a great band and used to fill in for Little Joe and the Ramrods who later became the Smoke Ring. Dohren and Goodman would later go on American Bandstand with the Hupp brothers, Jim Casey etc. They had a hit record written for them by Bobby Vee. I was pround to play in the band with Don and others between the time when I graduated from high school and went off to college in the summer of 1965. Fond memories.

Don was a Great Man,i went to karate with him for 10 years,also knew him coming out to nucor to replace the windows in my charge crane that got blew out on a regular basis,always was in a good mood,and looked up to him,Rest in Peace,
