Donna met the love of her life, John “Bud” Rodekohr, when he asked her to dance in Norfolk, Nebraska. They were married on November 28, 1964, at St. John Lutheran Church in Battle Creek and were blessed with 59 wonderful years together.
Donna and John lived their life on the family farm outside of Battle Creek, where they raised three children, Tim, Kathy, and David.

Her hobbies included bowling, making quilts for family and friends, and Sunday gameday, playing cards and board games. She enjoyed traveling and the many vacations that she and John took together. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her husband, John “Bud” Rodekohr of Battle Creek; two children, Kathy Kruse (Clark Fairbanks) of Sheridan, Wyoming and David Rodekohr (Laura Tech) of Battle Creek; one sister, Clara Armstrong; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
