Donna Slobodny

It is with great sorrow that Donna J. Slobodny, 70, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at her home in Norfolk surrounded by family. She was born June 10, 1955, to Don and Della (Reimers) Cook in Norfolk. 

A "celebration of life" for Donna will be at a later date.

Donna married Randy Slobodny on July 3, 1980.  The couple was blessed with three children, Heather, Travis and Mandy. 

Donna was a bookkeeper for most of her life. She had a profound love for her husband, children, and grandchildren. Donna loved to go thrift shopping and spending time with her grandkids.  

She leaves behind her children, Heather Slobodny, Travis (Jessica) Slobodny, and Mandy Board; grandkids, Aden and Chase Mielke, Brantly and Hunter Slobodny, and Cavin, Marayaha, and Cason Board; brother, Jerry Cook; sisters, Mary Williams and Barb (Frank) McGuire; brother-in-law, Gary (Cindy) Slobodny; and several nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Randy; and her parents Don, and Della Cook.
