Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy A. Wurdinger, age 95, of Randolph, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Randolph. Reverend Kevin Vogel will be celebrant, with burial in St. Frances Cemetery in Randolph.
A Christian Mothers Rosary will be Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at Home for Funerals-Randolph.
Visitation will follow the rosary on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service.
Dorothy passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Colonial Manor in Randolph.
Dorothy Ann Wurdinger, daughter of Paul and Laura (Banhagel) Nowatzke, was born May 16, 1929, in Portsmouth, Iowa. She attended Harrison County Hemlock rural school near Portsmouth.
On December 31, 1952, she married Arthur Wurdinger. The couple was blessed with two sons, Lynn and Paul. Dorothy farmed near Randolph with her husband, Arthur, until his death in 1992. She enjoyed playing cards and going to the Randolph Senior Center. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers, PCCW #4, and the Wareham Country Club.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Lynn Wurdinger and Paul (Jolene) Wurdinger; grandchildren, Shelby (Benton) Rolfes, Cali (Aaron) Roberg, Paula (Eric) Ruskamp, Samantha (Travis) Mennenga, Philip (Brelyn) Wurdinger, Krista (Matt) Proffitt, and Ross (Kylie) Wurdinger; and great-grandchildren, Emersyn, Breckyn, Macklin, Reggie, Ryder, Maddox, Raegan, Kensi, Amelia, and Laura.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Laura Nowatzke; and husband, Arthur Wurdinger.
