To the families of Ed & Betty,
While living in ONeill in the 1970's I had the privilege of distributing commumion to the shutin's. He was the only gentleman that opened the car door for me when getting out to distribute. This thought has stayed with me thru all these years of a gentleman with a very loving soul. Betty was a fond memory of working together in Catholic Daughters, as well as Cel. Your family made a definite Christian experience in my life. Our sympathy is with you during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Always enjoyed when he sat behind us at church and entertained our kids when they were little. He always told them it wasn't fair that we brought snacks for them and they didn't share with him. Was a joy to talk to and we always enjoyed that little visit as we walked out of church. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

It was my pleasure to know Ed since March of 2016 when he became a resident of the Meadows where I am Chaplain. I was known as the other Ed. We both have thinning hair and glasses! I so enjoyed hearing Ed's life experiences and faith in Christ. I ache for you all in your loss and just pray for the whole family and your grief walk.
