I was fortunate to know Forrey most of my life. Along with many other local musicians, I was fortunate to have played various jobs together around the Black Hills. I was grateful that our friendship continued through the years and meeting together with other musicians at "Karn's place" is a never fading memory. I will miss my friend.

So sorry to hear about your father passing but he is with Barb and other family members. I have wonderful memories of your parents at all the family get together in the black hills. Mom always talked about the fun she had growing up with him and all the cousins. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

I am so very sorry to hear of Forrie's passing. Forrie and Barb used to come visit us in Deadwood, SD. at Camp Genevieve. Forrie and his musical friends would have a weekend Jam Session providing entertainment for all to enjoy. I will certainly miss him.
My thoughts and prayers to the family.

So sorry as well as shocked to learn of Forrie's passing. Though we seldom saw each other since our Deadwood days, when we were kids we knew each other pretty well. In 2009 I attended the Induction event for the SD Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and we had a great visit and caught up on our history. My son's father-in-law was also honored that evening as a long time lead guitarist in several area dance bands. After high school I attended college with Forrie's associate, Gary Mule Deer. Forrie's parents and aunts were family friends as well--especially Lillian and Jimmy Shea. May he rest in peace and God bless you, his family. He was a supurb drummer as well as great guy.

I was sorry to read of Forrie's passing. I was the HR Manager at the Regional Center during your mom's employment there and I met Forrie though her. I visited with them at Norfolk Catholic football games and would also visit with Forrie when I walked though Herberger's when he worked there. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
