Obituary
A Memorial Service for Glenda Mae Reutzel, 83, of Norfolk, will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Home for Funerals Chapel in Norfolk. Reverend Jackie Perry will be officiating. Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
She passed away January 21, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Care Center.
Glenda was born on April 7, 1939, in Clay Center, NE, the daughter of Edgar and Doris (Anderson) Griess. She was raised on a farm and graduated from Sutton High School.
Shortly after her graduation, Glenda married Harlan Deloy Reutzel on May 30, 1957. The couple farmed near Atkinson. Following Harlan’s death, in 1993, Glenda moved into Atkinson to care for her parents. She moved to Norfolk, after their passing, in 2013.
Glenda is survived by her children Jean Reutzel, of Norfolk, and Keith Reutzel, of Beckwourth, CA; brother, Verlin (Lynette) Griess, of Atkinson, NE, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband and 2 brothers.
