Gregg E. Dahlheim

Funeral services for Gregg E. Dahlheim, age 71, of Norfolk, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at LifePoint Church, 715 W. Madison Avenue in Norfolk, Nebraska. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at the Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue.

He passed away Friday, December 15, 2023, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.

Gregg Eugene was born June 27, 1952, in Montrose, Colorado to Garold V. “Bud” and LaVerne M. (Aldinger) (Miller) Dahlheim.  He graduated from Norfolk Senior High School in 1970.

On November 11, 1972, Gregg married Janet Flaherty at the First United Methodist Church in Norfolk.  The couple was blessed with two children, Jaime and Andy.  The couple later divorced.

On August 20, 1993, Gregg married Pamala (Nielsen) Prince at the First United Methodist Church in Norfolk.

Gregg served as a highway maintenance supervisor for the State of Nebraska Department of Roads for 47 ½ years.  At Northeast Community College, he was the concession stand manager for over 20 years and served as assistant coach for the Women’s softball team for 3 years.  Gregg enjoyed softball, camping and fishing.  He loved watching dirt track racing and was an avid Husker football fan.   

He is survived by his wife, Pam; children, Jaime (Doug) Manz and their daughter Cassidy of Wayne, Andy (Mindy) Dahlheim and their children Brooklinn and Landyn of Norfolk, Jared Prince (fiancée Becky Bright) and their children Kennedy, Lexis, Andrew, Aedon, and Addy of Wahoo, and Jenna (Tyrel) Whalen and their son Sean of Norfolk; sisters, Marcia Oliphant of Windsor, CO and Roxie (Scott) Austin of Norfolk; and nieces and nephews.

Gregg was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Tyler Buoy; and brother-in-law, Norm Oliphant.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
