Jakeb "Jake" Lee Myers

Jakeb "Jake" Lee Myers, age 16 of Stanton, died Monday September 11, 2017 at his parent's home in Stanton. He was born October 11, 2000 in Lincoln, Nebraska the son of Lee Myers and Kimberley Isaacs. Jake attended Crete public schools and was currently a Junior at Stanton High School.

As a community volunteer Jake assisted at the Stanton Mobile Food Pantry. He worked at Stanton Veterinary Clinic for 4 months. In school he enjoyed 2 years of Stanton Mustang football; 1 year member of Stanton High Future Farmers of America; 3 years a participant in the G.U.T.S. program.

Jake had a great love for animals and enjoyed fishing, camping, music, computer games, playing cards, Farmall Tractors and Nebraska Football.

Survivors include his mother Kimberley and Dennis Noelle of Stanton; father Lee Myers of Lincoln; grandparents George and Mary Kay Hengen of Nebraska City, NE; Don and Elaine Isaacs of Valparaiso, NE; Bill and Carol Moore of Alamogordo, NM; 6 siblings Levi Magnuson of Lincoln; Kristian Magnuson of Albion; Lydia and Jeremy Horner of Norfolk; Jordan Marie Myers of Lincoln; Michael Myers and Marysa Myers both of Stanton; 2 Aunts Nancy and Jim Densberger of Raymond, NE; Mary Ann Kramer of Lincoln; several cousins and many friends.

Preceding Jake in death is his paternal grandfather Albert Myers; and 1 sibling in infancy.
