Jim was well-known in the trucking industry for many years, working a good portion of that time at Ganskow Construction. His love of trucks and trucking was evident with what he passed down to his sons. He couldn’t be prouder of them and their accomplishments.
He had a love for bowling, softball, and anything involving his sons. He was a lover of music and played tambourine with a local band.
On September 4, 1976, he was united in marriage with Kim Neidig. They later divorced.
Jim is survived by his siblings, Jay Throckmorton and Janel Weinberger; sons, Sean (Miranda), Travis (Jody), and Brandon (Jacie); nine grandchildren, Klarysa, Delaney, Brynn, Kayler, Dylan, Braelynn, Kadyn, Layton, and Eastyn; along with Kim, the mother of his children; and many nieces and nephews.
His boys and grandkids were the loves of his life.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Gaylene in infancy; his parents; grandparents; and aunts and uncles.
Memorials will be directed to the family for future designation.
