Jonie Liebers

Memorial services for Jonie M. Liebers, age 66, of Norfolk, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2024, at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue, in Norfolk. Pastor Paul Malcomson will officiate.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Jonie died Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at her residence.

Jonie Marie Liebers was born December 30, 1957, to William Franklin Todd and Katherine Marie Rissey in Alliance, Nebraska, where she was born and raised. She graduated from high school in 1976.

She moved to Norfolk in 1986 and married David Liebers on May 21, 1987.

Jonie raised four children. She loved going to church and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered as someone full of love who always saw the best in everyone.

She is survived by her husband, David; children, Isaac (Angel) Todd, Matthew Norton, Katie Norton (James), and Shelly Norton (Desmond Tennors); stepdaughter, Angie Rexius; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Carol Tillman

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister; and a grandchild.
