Kevin Keifer Obituary
Kevin Kim Keifer, age 55 of Randolph, died Sunday June 23, 2019 at Osmond General Hospital in Osmond. He was born September 16, 1963 at Osmond, Nebraska the son of Larry and Charlotte (Berner) Keifer. He is a 1981 graduate Randolph High School in Randolph and later graduated with Bachelor's degree from Wayne State College with Industrial Technology with Safety Management minor.
He married Ramona Beavers on Nov. 7, 1981 at United Methodist Church at Randolph. To this union were born 3 children Christopher, Miranda and Clinton. The family made their home in Randolph. The couple divorced in 1991.
Kevin was employed as a welder/millwright as a subcontractor for Nucor Steel in Norfolk at 3-D metal works, later worked as a crane operator for 3-D metal works at Nucor. Next Kevin was employed as safety coordinator for a windmill company near Wakefield. Currently Kevin was training in utility locating for USIC.
He is a member of United Methodist Church in Randolph and also a member of Millwright's Union #1463 of Omaha.
Survivors include his 3 children Christopher and Jenna Keifer of Lincoln; Miranda Keifer and Jesse Gomez of Norfolk; Clint Keifer and Ashley Kindschuh of Wisner; 2 grandchildren Emmett Keifer of Lincoln; Kianna Keifer of Norfolk; step-granddaughter Leah Gomez of Norfolk; parents Larry and Charlotte Keifer of Randolph; 4 Siblings Mike Keifer of Randolph; Johnny and Tracey Keifer of Eustis; Gina and Brian Comer of Derby, Kansas; Gail and Perry Penske of Cottonwood, MN; many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
