Lloyd Frank Molacek, age 84 of Stanton, died Tuesday February 13, 2018 at Norfolk Veterans Home. He was born January 22, 1934 at Howells, Nebraska the son of Joseph and Emma (Vacha) Molacek. He attended Stanton County Districts #48 and #9 and graduated from Stanton High School in 1952.
On October 8, 1953 Lloyd married C. Katherine Frank at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Stanton. On April 1, 1954 Lloyd entered the United States Army and served in Guam. He was honorably discharged on February 4, 1956. The couple farmed for many years. Lloyd sold feed for Mormon Feed company. They moved into Stanton in 1975 and Lloyd worked as the Stanton County Weed Superintendent. He retired in March 2013. On October 8, 2013 the family celebrated Lloyd and Katherine's 60 wedding anniversary with all family members able to attend.
He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Stanton and member of Stanton V.F.W. Post #3602. Lloyd enjoyed wood working, gardening, visiting casinos, playing cards and pool; he very much enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, C. Katherine Molacek of Stanton; 5 children Teresa and Mark Chamberlain of Stanton; Cindy and Jon Fago of Pittsboro, NC; Dan and Kim Molacek of Stanton; Patty and Wain Finke of Evergreen, Colorado; Jim and Pam Molacek of Norfolk; 12 Grandchildren; 2 Step Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; 2 Step Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Granddaughter.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, 2 Brothers Randy and Joe; 2 Sisters Adella Schutt and Palma Schwartz.
