Mass of Christian Burial for Lorna M. Schuster, age 91, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk. Reverend Vincent Germace will be celebrant, with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue, in Norfolk.

Lorna died Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Stanton Health Center in Stanton, Nebraska.
Lorna Mae (Engelbart) Hansen Schuster was born December 12, 1932, in Creston, Nebraska to Alfred and Mabel (Muhle) Engelbart. She was baptized on April 2, 1933, and confirmed on June 9, 1946, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Leigh, Nebraska. Lorna attended several country schools in Colfax and Platte counties through the eighth grade. Her one goal was to obtain her GED, and she accomplished that in 1987 at the age of 55.
On October 9, 1952, Lorna was united in marriage to Marvin L. Hansen. They were blessed with four daughters. On December 27, 1974, Lorna married Dwain Schuster.
Lorna worked at Sherwood Medical for 27 years. Her hobbies included crocheting and sewing. She was famous for her homemade breads, pies, and rolls. Lorna took lessons to play the accordion, playing for her girls.
She deeply loved and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lorna is survived by her daughters, Marva (Dale) Dreyer of Stanton, Debbie (Bruce) Hoehne of Stanton, Lyla (Dale) Kallhoff of Neligh, and Danita (Brian) Drenkow of North Platte; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mabel Engelbart, and her husbands, Marvin Hansen and Dwain Schuster.
