Funeral services for Maria Hernandez de Lopez, age 76, of Madison, Nebraska will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue, in Norfolk, Nebraska. Pastor Omar Martinez will officiate, with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the chapel.

Home for Funerals in Norfolk is in charge of arrangements.

Maria died Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.

Maria D. Hernandez de Lopez was born in Mexico on May 30, 1947. She was united in marriage to Refugio Lopez. Maria loved life, cooking, listening to music, and going to church.

Maria is survived by her children, Rosa Hernandez, Alberto Lopez, Leonardo Lopez, and Juan Lopez; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; her siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
