Mauricio Omar Perez

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mauricio Perez, 24, of Englewood, CO, will be Friday, December 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church in Madison. Reverend Gregory Carl will be the celebrant. The visitation will be Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church. The burial will be in St. Leonard’s Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Resseguie Funeral Home in Madison.

Masks are strongly encouraged.

Mauricio passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 in Englewood, CO.

Mauricio was born May 6, 1996 in Norfolk, NE to Mauro and Teodora (Torrez) Perez. He graduated from Madison High School in 2015 and attended Central Community College.

After graduation, Mauricio worked at Tyson Food before moving to Denver. He loved to listen to music, spend time with his friends and make videos. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his parents, Mauro and Teodora Perez of Madison; siblings, Esmerelda Perez, Samuel Perez, and Mariano Perez, all of Madison; and grandparents, Merced Perez of Madison, NE, Felicina Mendez of Mexico, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mauricio was preceded in death by his grandfather, Porfirio Torrez and grandmother, Ramona L. Perez.
