Nile R. Larson

Graveside Services for Nile R. Larson, age 92, of Randolph, will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 27th, at the Randolph City Cemetery.  Dick Bloomquist, Parish Minister Associate, will officiate. Home for Funerals – Randolph is in charge of arrangements.

He passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Colonial Manor in Randolph.

Nile Reed was born July 9, 1930 in Pierce, Nebraska to Lawrence Victor and Marian Gladys (Nelson) Larson.  He was baptized at the Lutheran Parsonage and attended the Lutheran School in Pierce.

Nile was joined by a brother Arland Jay and a sister Sharon Devon some years later.

Nile lived at home most of his life and helped his family farm in areas around Belden and Randolph for many years.

Upon the death of his father, Lawrence, in June of 1967, Nile and his mother moved to Coleridge, where he resided until moving to the Colonial Manor in Randolph in 2002.

Nile is survived by his brother Arland Jay (Carol) Larson, nephew Bruce (Susan) Strathman, niece Sandra Reed, nephew Larry Larson, niece Linda Hoopes and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.
