Funeral services for Norma A. Forman, age 74, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue in Norfolk. Reverend Lee Weander will officiate.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the chapel.
Norma died Friday, October 31, 2025, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.
Norma Ann Forman, daughter of Joe and Lottie (Hrbek) Forman, was born October 10, 1951, in Orchard, Nebraska. She attended rural Knoxville School from kindergarten through 8th grade before moving on to Verdigre Public School, graduating in 1969.
After high school, Norma worked as a dispatcher for Madison County Sheriff’s Office, at the pork plant in Madison, and then spent 35 years at Sherwood Medical. After retirement, she worked at Dollar General and Dollar Tree.
She loved cheering on Husker volleyball and football.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Renee Forman of Norfolk; grandchildren, Diego Garcia, Kamila (Carrion) and husband Antonio Aguilar, and Marco Carrion, all of Norfolk; great-grandchildren, Cam’Ron, Winona, Farrah, and Jose (Junior); brothers, Jerome (Sandra) Forman of Verdigre, Donald (Connie) Forman of Verdigre, James (Kathy) Forman of O’Neill, and Dennis Forman of Verdigre; sisters, Noreen Conrad of Norfolk, and Betty (Kevin) Boggs of Winnetoon; brother-in-law, Lyle Thelen of Creighton; nieces and nephews; and her very special friend that she treated as a sister, Esther Behrens.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Lottie Forman; infant sister, Donna Jean; and sister, Elaine Thelen.
