Ordeen died Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Arbor Care Center – Countryside in Madison.

Ordeen Raymond was born August 28, 1936 to George Kreitman and Libby (Smutny) in Madison, Nebraska.  He grew up in Madison, and after graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Navy.  While stationed in Oakland, California he met Sandra “Sandy” Abbot and they married there on April 18, 1959.

After being an electrician for many years, Ordeen became a truck driver hauling grain.

When he retired, he started tinkering with small engine repairs and woodworking.  You Tube was his “friend”.  He enjoyed working in his garage, working on his father’s 1950s Willys Jeep and spending time there with his neighbors.  He also liked to watch Westerns and putting puzzles together.

He enjoyed spending time with the Gold Wing Club, and also with his buddies at coffee time.

Ordeen was a good dad to his children and an awesome husband to Sandy.  He was known by his family as “Grandpa OK”.

He is survived by his son Ron (Donna) Kreitman of Columbus, Nebraska; daughters Teresa (Vince) Esquibel of La Joya, New Mexico and Phyllis Fischer of Denver, Colorado; brother Melvin (Lois) Kreitman of North Bend, Nebraska; sisters Deanna (Larry) Schlecht of Scribner, Nebraska and Eileen (Pat) Heffernan of Dunlap, Iowa; son-in-law Tim Frank of Ness City, Kansas; fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren; further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sandy, daughter Tracy Frank, and brother George Jr.
