I about fainted. Just learned of Rick's passing today. Rick was FULL OF LIFE and a true JOY to be around. He honestly was a friend to anyone he ever met. Norfolk and all that knew Rick will miss him greatly. My heart is saddened by all of our loss. God bless all the family.

I remember Rick from St Pauls Elementary school. We were in the same grade. He was a very nice guy, and I loved his deep singing voice. I remember at Double K, he worked so hard to get the delicious food to customers. I moved away at 18, but will always remember his childhood smile, and great attitude. God Bless the family in this difficult time.

My prayers to the family. We looked Rick up when I visiting from Arizona last summer (first time I had been back since I was in my 20s). He was so vibrant and healthy. We tracked him down at his Mom's house (he had just finished mowing and was watering her lawn). I have some very special memories working for Rick and his Dad at Double K during my High School years. I am so glad that we got to catch up last summer...I just never knew that would be the last time I would see him in person.
