Richard "Rich" King

A Celebration of Life for Richard R. “Rich” King, age 66, of Norfolk, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue, Norfolk. John Petersen will officiate. 

Visitation with family will be one hour prior to service at the chapel. 

The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home’s website.  

Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.

He passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, at his home in Norfolk.

Richard was a man of many true-life stories and enjoyed sharing with family and friends. He had a very kind heart. He was able to fix anything and everything in between, especially motors. 

Richard, thank you for being our family “rock”. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd King and Amanda (Ronnfeldt) (King) Kelley; wife, Michyl Danekas; son, Tristan King; and many brothers.

Rich is survived by his significant other, Barb Saults of Norfolk; son, Richie (Jeni) Domsch of Norfolk; son, Brett King of Norfolk; daughter, Andrea King (fiancé Ryan Brandt) of Lincoln; daughter, Tonnya King of Yankton, SD; daughter, Kendra (Chris) Morton of The Ozarks, MO; many grandchildren; and three brothers.
